What this does
Compress photo for exam form uploads without guessing the numbers: the desk opens on the bank recruitment photo preset (20–50 KB, 200 × 230 px, 200 DPI) and every preset says where its numbers come from. The honest limit: a preset checks the numbers a notice states, and cannot know a portal’s other rules.

A wider table, with the inconsistencies found in the notices, is in exam photo sizes in India.
When to use this, and when not
- Use it when your form is one of the presets, or states a KB range, pixels and DPI you can type in.
- For a signature on its own, compress signature to 20 KB starts with the clean-up switched on.
- For a single KB limit with no pixel size, compress photo to 50 KB is simpler.
Honest limits
- A preset with a pixel size fills that size exactly, keeping the centre of the photo. Crop first if your face is not near the middle.
- Presets from a secondary source are marked; read the official notice before you submit.
- At 200 × 230 px many photos are under 20 KB even at the highest quality. The bank notices call that size preferred, so the photo is enlarged in the same shape until it reaches the minimum, and the check line says so. Presets whose size is required are never enlarged.
- The check reads the file you download. If you edit it afterwards in another app, check it again.
Privacy on this page
Capture information is removed on every preset. The photo and signature never leave this tab.
Step by step
- Choose the photo. Press Choose photos and pick the photo (and the signature, if the form wants both).
- Pick the preset. In the Recipe panel, choose your form under Form preset. For two files, give each its own preset in the Photo panel.
- Compress. Press Compress. Each file gets a PASS or FAIL line listing the size, pixels, format and DPI it was checked on.
- Download. Press Download (one file) or save the ZIP (two). The files are named photo.jpg and signature.jpg.
