What this does
Increase photo size in KB to reach a form’s minimum: the desk starts at a 20–50 KB range written as JPEG, raises the quality first and then the pixels, up to 1200 px on the long edge. The honest limit: some tiny, plain images cannot reach a minimum without padding, and this site will not pad.
When to use this, and when not
- Use it when a portal says your photo or signature is below its minimum.
- If the form also states pixels and DPI, compress photo for exam form sets all of them from a sourced preset.
- If your file is too big rather than too small, use reduce photo size in KB.
Honest limits
- Enlarging adds pixels, not detail. A photo enlarged to reach a minimum looks the same, slightly softer, at the larger size.
- The enlargement stops at the long edge set here (1200 px to start), however far the file is from the minimum.
- A form's pixel size, if it states one, wins: set it under Dimensions as an exact size, and only the quality is used to reach the minimum.

Capture information is kept here; remove it on the recipe bar if the form does not need it. Read KB and pixels for how size in KB, pixels and DPI relate.
